Tuffgrip is our established thin surfacing system and is produced in accordance with SHW Cl 942. It was jointly developed with BP for highways and other paved areas.

Developed in line with Transport for Scotland Methodology, this low void, high bitumen content Stone Mastic Asphalt designed product is ideal for sites where safety and reduced noise are paramount.

Durafalt® D has a high binder content and lower air voids than traditional SMA, these properties are at the core of this asphalt solution.

Tufflayer® provides a highly polymerised crack relief interlay solution that also protects lower layers from water ingress by creating an impermeable layer.

Tuffpave is an approved, polymer-modified thin surfacing system that can be laid by any approved licensed laying contractor.

Durafalt is a high-performance SHW Clause 942-approved surface course system laid by any Hanson approved Licensed Laying Contractor.
