We work with a range of social enterprises across the country, maintaining our quality procurement standards while also supporting those most at need.
For example, we have worked closely with Nuneaton Signs, our preferred signage partner, for over 15 years. We have spent over half a million pounds with the company since 2019, helping it develop its team of over 60 members of staff (of which two thirds have at least one disability) and provide placements for four interns.
Nuneaton Signs was initially set-up as a supported workshop, prioritising the employment of people with disabilities, and has continued to boast a skilled and diverse workforce that delivers high quality products and services, while providing long-term and secure employment opportunities, changing the lives of their employees.
