Hanson supplied specialist contractor ACE Concrete Flooring Solutions with Easyflow to create the raft foundations for a residential new build home in Wetherby.

Project description
Hanson’s Easyflow was used to create two raft foundations for a residential new build home by ACE Concrete Flooring Solutions. The free-flowing, selfcompacting concrete complies with NHBC regulations and is quick and easy to place.

Shane Parkinson, director at ACE Concrete Flooring Solutions, said: “Easyflow eliminates the need for vibration, or the use of a power float, and this faster placing of the concrete meant the team was finished on site quickly, with no need to return later, reducing labour costs.”

The ease of using the product, which was supplied from Hanson’s York concrete plant, also reduced the amount of staff required on site for the installation and created a high-quality, smooth and level finish.
