Look out for our colourful new cement tanker

We’ve given one of our cement tankers a colourful makeover to show our commitment to inclusion and diversity.

The tanker is making its way down from our Ketton cement works in Rutland to Avonmouth, Bristol, and will be taking part in Bristol Pride on Saturday 13 July.

It is another example of our support for the LGBT+ community and the importance we place on ensuring that everyone in our business feels valued, accepted and empowered.

We are also a member for Building Equality, which aims to build a more inclusive construction industry through collaboration, support and promotion.

Social Value and FAIR Co-ordinator Jops Dann said: “At Heidelberg Materials UK we want every employee to feel like they can bring their true selves to work.

“We have a number of different networks within the business to help support that commitment, which is just another reason why it is a great place to work.”
