Spreading the joy of Christmas

We are so proud of our team at our Syston customer service centre (CSC) for their generosity to our Christmas Toy Appeal with Leicester County Council’s Children and Family Wellbeing Service.

A Christmas tree in reception at the CSC was decorated with gift tags for presents for children aged from newborn to 16 years. Over the following days 200 tags were placed and taken by staff from the office and beyond.  

“The response from the office has been breath-taking, with all 200 tags taken within two days and gift bags filled with presents placed under the tree,” said Bev Roberts CSC office manager.

“We are delighted that the company then matched the number of gifts, and we were able to deliver 400 parcels to the council.

“The team at Children and Family Wellbeing Services have expressed their heartfelt thanks, gratitude and amazement at the number of gifts we managed to collect in such a short time. They were overwhelmed.

“This has been our greatest collection ever at the CSC and will make Christmas special for so many children this year.”
