Our Range of Bulk Cement

CEM I Portland cement

CEM I is widely used for general construction needs, from concrete and mortar to renders, screed, and grouts. It is compatible with all concrete admixtures and lime.

CEM II A-LL

CEM II A-LL is a high-limestone cement with lower embodied CO2 than CEM I, making it ideal for low-carbon concrete. To reduce carbon levels even further, CEM II A-LL can be used with cement additions such as Regen GGBS and admixtures. For details on how to specify CEM II A-LL in low-carbon concrete, view our webinar.

CEM III Blast furnace Slag Cement

A blend of CEM I Portland cement and Regen GGBS. With CEM III, cement and Regen GGBS are combined, in varying proportions, to provide a lower level of CO2 emissions when used in concrete.

White Portland cement

White Portland cement delivers a distinctive look for everything from cast stone, render and exposed aggregate finishes to structural concrete, precast units and pointing mortars. It can also enhance pigment effectiveness in coloured concrete and is an ideal way of matching pale-coloured building stones.

CableCem

CableCem is a heat-conducting grout developed as an infill material for jacket tube systems. It has excellent free-flowing properties and is well-suited for infilling the residual annular space between the cable and the jacket tube. Ideal for the energy sector where power cables are being installed in the ground.

Natural Hydraulic Lime 5 (NHL 5)

NHL 5’s whiteness facilitates quality architectural finishes and can be pigmented, making it ideal for restoration and conversion as well as new-build projects. It’s also used in lime and sand mortars for stone, brick, and block laying, external rendering, and internal plastering.

What Is Bulk Cement?

Bulk cement refers to cement supplied in large quantities, typically delivered in loose form rather than prepackaged bags. It is usually delivered by tanker, ready for use in large-scale industrial or commercial construction projects.

What Is Bulk Cement Used For?

Bulk cement is ideal for large construction projects, such as commercial buildings, bridges, and motorways. It is a common ingredient in ready-mix concrete, mortar and specialised applications like road building and foundations.

What Are The Environmental Benefits Of Using Bulk Cement?

Due to its bulk nature, this form of cement helps reduce packaging waste and energy consumption compared to bagged cement. Using cement alternatives like Regen GGBS or carbon-captured evoZero cement can also lower the carbon footprint of construction projects by replacing a portion of traditional cement with alternatives that are more sustainably produced.

Can Bulk Cement Be Used For All Types Of Construction?

Yes, bulk cement is versatile and can be used for various construction types, from residential to commercial and large infrastructure projects. It suits everything from foundations and walls to specialised applications like bridges and highways.

Visit our cement products page for further details on the different types available.
